we had a really nice stay! the location was great, just a short walk to the town center. the room was clean and comfy, perfect for a 1 night getaway. loved the breakfast selection too, they had everything from eggs benedict to porridge. all the staff were super friendly and helpful.
the only downsides were the room was a bit smaller than expected and the mattress wasn't as comfy as i hoped.

River view, outdoor seating, compact bathroom
Felt sorry for the staff having to navigate the stairs with hot plates!!! The restaurant's early closing at 9:30, especially without notice about the closure on Tuesdays, really felt rushed during dinner.

Exceptional Breakfast and Stunning River Views
We had a fantastic stay in a beautifully decorated room with incredible views of the River Wye. The breakfast was freshly cooked and offered a delightful variety, from full English to smoked salmon options. The staff here were extremely welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. the mattress could use an upgrade for better comfort.

The room had a beautiful river view and was recently refurbished to a high standard, making it a cozy retreat. Breakfast in the stunning pavilion was a highlight, featuring fresh, farm-to-table products. We loved the outdoor beer garden and the potential for summer dining, but parking could be tight during peak times. Noise from the nearby road was somewhat distracting at night.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and really helpful, making me feel welcome right away. Breakfast options were great, especially the eggs benedict. The location near the river was just perfect for morning walks. the room felt cramped, especially the bathroom. The door couldn't open fully because it hit the bottom of the bed. I also noticed some noise from a generator outside, which disturbed my sleep a bit. Cleaning was also missed during my stay.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was super comfy. I loved relaxing in the garden area with the lovely views and enjoying a peaceful drink in the evening. Only wish the room had a fan as it got a bit warm at night, but it didn’t ruin our stay. 😊
